Red River National Wildlife Refuge summertime trip -1/3- {Photography Blog}

Hello everyone, I hope your day is going well! Here's another photography blog post. It's a three-part blog so keep an eye out for the rest later on. Now starting right off here's the first photograph for the blog. It's of this Pipevine Swallowtail, I spotted them in the wildflower garden next to the headquarters facility.

There was also this Giant Swallowtail, following nearby the other butterfly. They were quite into these types of flowers which I believe are Lantana Bushes.

Next on the same day as the butterfly photos, here is a photograph of this one Zinnia flower out in the open, there were quite a few of them outside the headquarters and they were really beautiful to see close up.
Now for the last photograph, it's from the next time I went to the refuge in August. The photo is of this one juvenile Red Tail Hawk. This little hawk was spotted just as it was time to leave the refuge when driving by the exit of the highway.

All these photographs were taken, with my Nikon 5600 and 300mm lens.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading today's blog! Thank you for sticking around and have a wonderful time!
